AIWA Yerevan's first event to celebrate Women's History Month is a visit to the History Museum of Armenia on Saturday, March 15th at 11:00 AM, where AIWA members will have the opportunity to explore the Mother Goddess: From Anahit to Mary exhibition, made possible by the generous support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia.

Anahit was an important goddess in ancient Armenian culture, revered for her associations with fertility, healing, wisdom, and water. As a symbol of strength and resilience, she was worshiped in grand temples, and her influence was deeply felt in both spiritual and everyday life. Anahit's legacy continues to be a powerful reminder of Armenia's rich cultural and religious history.
