Zela Astarjian - Moderator

Zela Astarjian is a respected and credible voice in marketing and sales in the investment management community. She is an exceptional networker and a seasoned sales professional. Zela considers herself a citizen of the world, having grown up in the Middle East, studied in Paris, France, and finally settling in Boston, Massachusetts. She is currently Director of Investor Relations at Catholic Investment Services, an investment management firm in Boston.

Zela has been involved with several Boston area non-profits. She is a dedicated contributor to 100 Women In Finance, a non-profit organization focused on connecting and encouraging women in the finance professions to advance their careers. She currently serves as the Boston chairperson of their initiative, Getting Women on Non–Profit Boards. She is also a board member of Armenian International Women’s Association, Inc. (AIWA). Zela's goal has been to mentor young women as they work to achieve their career potential.




Anna D. Bruno

Anna Doghramdjian Bruno is the Founder and CEO of Thrive Armenia Foundation, (TAF) a New York State registered not-for-profit organization. TAF’s mission is to advance the standard of living in Armenian communities by providing resources to people of all ages with educational programs, cultural initiatives, and collaborations with other organizations through their Get Skills Academy. Anna’s special interest is in finance, specializing in economics, statistics and investments. She started her financial career at Raymond James Financial Services INC. and later at Solomon Smith Barney. In 2003 she established her own financial planning practice, and in 2009 she earned a Certificate in Retirement Planning from The Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania.

Born in Yerevan, Armenia, Anna emigrated to the United States and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from the State University of New York. She has spent many volunteer hours as a member of the Parish Council for St. Gregory Armenian Church in White Plains, NY, consulted with Children Of Armenia Fund (COAF), mentored young professionals of the AGBU (Armenian General Benevolent Union) NYSIP and has lectured about personal finance to many interest groups and associations. She now resides in Thornwood, NY with her husband Michael, and their three children, Alexander, Andrew, and Katherine.


Celeste Simoné (Simmi) Ayjian

Celeste Simoné (Simmi) Ayjian is a wealth management certified financial advisor focused on helping women level-up their money and gain financial freedom. Simmi uses her financial proficiency in a holistic planning approach to provide women with the skills to increase their financial security and confidence, which subsequently contributes to higher levels of happiness and success. Simmi’s Armenian roots and culture are a significant driver in her desire to help Armenian women gain a deeper sense of financial literacy and financial planning. In Simmi’s free time she enjoys being with her family and friends, maintaining a healthy lifestyle by cooking and exercise, painting, practicing mindfulness, and volunteering. Simmi lives in downtown Philly and travels frequently to visit friends and clients around the country! Simmi has hit many milestones in her career with Northwestern Mutual thus far and is looking forward to future success.
